When Basma Hameed was just two years old, she suffered third-degree burns covering 40% of her face. Throughout her childhood and adolescence, she underwent more than 100 reconstructive procedures in an effort to restore her appearance. Despite years of treatment, significant discoloration remained.

As a teenager, she was told there were no further solutions available to improve her skin.

Refusing to accept that answer, Basma embarked on an extraordinary journey of research, experimentation, and self-discovery. At just seventeen years old, she began developing and testing specialized dermal techniques on herself, determined to restore her natural skin tone and reclaim her confidence.

What emerged from that journey would go on to transform thousands of lives around the world.
