Terms & Policies

BOOKINGS:

All new clients must book a consultation with one of our Specialists to assess the area(s) of concern, determine treatment suitability and establish a tailored treatment plan. Consultation fees are confirmed at the time of booking and, where applicable, applied toward treatment.

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of assessment and are subject to change thereafter. Pricing is specific to the individual and the area assessed and cannot be transferred to another person or area of concern.

If the treatment area undergoes an alternative treatment that may affect its condition or suitability for Scar Camouflage, the original quote may become void and a reassessment and updated quote may be required.

We do not provide pricing or estimates without an assessment. To schedule a consultation or appointment, contact your nearest BHC location by email or phone.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

BHC is committed to providing all clients with exceptional care. To allow other clients the opportunity to book available appointments, we require a minimum of 48 business hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests for treatment appointments made with less than 48 business hours' notice are subject to a $250.00 cancellation fee. Missed treatment appointments without notice are subject to a fee amounting to 50% of the scheduled service value.

Consultations cancelled or rescheduled within 48 business hours of the scheduled appointment, as well as missed consultations, require a new consultation fee at the current rate to rebook.

Clients are booked for a specific appointment time and are expected to make the necessary arrangements to arrive at their scheduled time. Early arrivals cannot be accommodated. Late arrivals may need to be rescheduled at the clinic's discretion and will be subject to the applicable cancellation fee and rebooking requirements. Clients must notify the clinic as soon as possible if they anticipate arriving late.

Applicable fees may be charged to the payment method authorized at the time of booking.

REFUNDS:

All packages and individual treatments purchased at Basma Hameed Clinic are non-refundable.

Packages are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Any remaining treatments expire after this period. Packages and treatments cannot be transferred to another person or applied to a different area of concern.

MEDICAL CONCERNS:

Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate medical history information. Any changes in medical condition, medications or relevant treatment history must be communicated to the clinic before proceeding with further treatments. Additional assessment or medical clearance may be required where appropriate.

Treatment results:

Scar Camouflage is a specialized treatment, and results vary depending on the individual, the characteristics of the scar and the body's response to treatment. Multiple sessions may be required, and specific results cannot be guaranteed. Treatment recommendations may be adjusted based on the Specialist's assessment and the healing response.

Clients are responsible for following all aftercare instructions provided by their Specialist and allowing adequate healing time between treatments.

Undergoing alternative treatments on the treated area or failing to follow the recommended aftercare protocol may negatively affect results. Any additional treatments, reassessments or corrective work required as a result may be at the client's expense. The area may need to be reassessed and requoted before further treatment can proceed.

Clients must inform their Specialist of any alternative treatments performed on the area since their previous appointment.

TREATMENT ELIGIBILITY:

Not all scars or skin conditions are suitable for Scar Camouflage. Treatment eligibility is determined by a Specialist following an individual assessment. BHC reserves the right to decline or discontinue treatment if the area is deemed unsuitable or treatment is no longer recommended.

CLIENT CONDUCT:

Basma Hameed Clinic is committed to maintaining a professional, safe and respectful environment for both clients and staff. We expect all clients to treat our Specialists and team members with courtesy and respect.

Harassment, threatening behaviour, verbal abuse, insults, discrimination or other inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated. BHC reserves the right to pause or discontinue a consultation or treatment if a staff member experiences inappropriate behaviour, feels unsafe or is subjected to harassment or verbal abuse. BHC may also decline future appointments in such circumstances.

Any applicable fees or payment obligations arising from a discontinued appointment will be handled in accordance with the relevant booking and cancellation policies.

PAYMENT POLICY:

Clients are responsible for payment according to the terms communicated at the time of booking or purchase. Where a credit card is required to be kept on file, it may be charged for applicable cancellation or no-show fees in accordance with the policy disclosed and authorized at the time of booking.
